I am a Kentucky raised bourbon enthusiast, dog lover with a doodle who is probably more spoiled than she should be, and a family man at heart. My passion for photography runs deep and here's why:
What can I offer you that’s different than most? Perspective.
I was born completely blind and slowly regained vision in my left eye when I was young. Growing up with half the vision of the people around me never bothered me too much, it was all I knew. Just don’t ask me to catch anything. My passion for photography started when I was 13 and I got my first camera for Christmas. I instantly became obsessed with capturing moments how I saw them and being able to share memories with others.
My junior year of high school, the thing my parents and I had been warned about became a reality. My retina in my left eye was starting to detach. I went in for a simple laser procedure that was supposed to have me back in school in a few days. I ended up having nine eye surgeries. 18 eye infections, months of having to keep my face towards the floor 24 hours a day, and years of not being able to lay on my back. In between surgeries and recovery time, I would take the vision I still had and continue to chase my passions. As the memories of seemingly endless surgeries fade, my vision sits at a stable 20/50 for now. I want to share my passion for photography and my understanding of how every precious every moment is with you.
That's enough about me, let's talk about you!!
